Vanessa 18 is a dancer/actress from the city of Toronto. Having some modeling experience, Vanessa would like to grace the covers of fashion magazines and walk the runways!
Vanessa had the privilege of meeting Barbara Owen, World Fashion Media News Editor at the Toronto Fashion Incubator Fashion Show which showcases up-coming fashion designers. Vanessa modeled for the Ladiez Room collection by designer Shannon Hong in February 2013. She also did a fashion shoot with JBMOMENTINTIME Photography for the online website for Ladiez Room. www.ladiezroom.com
Vanessa was personally asked by Barbara Owen, World Fashion Media News Editor to model and be the face of her new unique fashion collection under the label Vert Closet Couture which is made of up-cycled unconventional fabrics and materials, as well as, Vert Closet Mademoiselle which uses new unconventional fabrics.
Vanessa also walked a runway in 2012 for the Sutherland Model Search at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre, which in addition highlighted a fashion show with models from America's Next Top Model.
Vanessa has competed in numerous pageants in Canada and the United States since the age of 6 and currently holds the title of "Miss All Canadian 2012" Being in pageants has given her confidence, self esteem, the ability to speak in front of others and promote her platform, the importance of being a volunteer and giving back to others, the environment and wildlife.
Vanessa is hoping that being promoted by World Fashion Media News is the door she needs to be opened for her in this competitive world of modeling.
