Glenview, Il. (January, 2016) — SPENGA— a boutique gym concept combining three essential elements of fitness to create a high intensity, low impact, interval-training workout – launches on the North Shore of Chicago.
Providing a multi-sensory experience unparalleled in the market, SPENGA is an emerging concept delivering cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training in every session through a combination of spin, strength training and yoga.
Skilled personal trainers lead each session, beginning with 20 minutes of spin on cutting-edge clip-in stationary bikes, followed by 20 minutes of strength training incorporating weights, kettle bells and more, and finishing with 20 minutes of power flow yoga.
In addition to an effective workout, SPENGA provides a community-oriented atmosphere where employees foster a social environment in which members and employees alike develop lasting relationships.
With space dedicated to each element of the workout each studio is complete with energizing aromatherapy from essential oils and a DJ-inspired playlist.
Daycare will be offered for babies and children aged 6 weeks to 8 years by background checked, experienced babysitters.
Free, covered parking is right across the street from the studio located in the heart of The Glen Town Center.
SPENGA offers competitive pricing on memberships, packages and drop in rates.
While the fitness space may seem oversaturated, SPENGA was created to fill a void in the industry. Kathleen Smith, owner of SPENGA Glenview says, “The fitness industry is being driven by value-oriented big box gyms and specialized boutique studios. What sets SPENGA apart is that we offer gym-goers a formatted, instructor-led workout that’s found in boutique studios, but isn’t limited to one type of exercise.”
SPENGA Glenview will open late February with a week of free classes and special events.
