JANABY CLOTHING
Malva" Fortin is a young talented clothing designer currently residing in Boston, MA. This young man grew up watching his mother sewing and instantly fell in love with fashion. During his youth Malva spent all his money on clothes because he knew, even at a very early age, that clothes do set people apart from the crowd and he wanted to stand out. He would buy clothes off the shelf and then redesign them to suit his taste. This lead to a passion for the creation of new and exciting clothes for both men and women.
When asked how the brand name "JANABY" was created, he is quick to answer that it was his brother Alberto Jeanty, the CEO, who came up with the idea. In Alberto's search for something unique that would truly be a one of a kind brand he took letters from both their names and formulated "JANABY". Once that was completed and agreed upon by the two brothers, Malva wanted to create a logo that symbolizes strength, confidence and determination. The logo of the Egyptian-style bull's head does exactly that.
Malva's other interests include music and photography. When designing he often points out how important photography is to his creative process. He enjoys photographing old buildings, new architecture and animals to use as inspiration for his new designs. All of nature inspires him to create designs that spring to life with bold statements that empower people to live their dreams. JANABY designs great quality attire for both men and women of all shapes and sizes because they believe that uniqueness is what makes ones' confidence blossom.
