Tia McDonald is a 23-year-old double major from the University of Florida, who has spent her whole life mentoring kids to believe in their dreams.
By the age of 10, Tia raised more than $150,000 and gave 5 cars to people with special needs, along with creating a pageant for mentally, and physically challenged children, and adults that just celebrated it’s 13th year with Little Miss Florida, starting her very own pageant.
For her efforts, she’s won the President’s Bronze, Silver, and Gold community service award, Governor’s Point of Light Honor, News Journal’s Medallion of Excellence, a proclamation from the mayor, along with the President’s academic award.
She is passionate about health and fitness and has even founded her own company, SkinnyFit Tea.
