VALERINA YOUNG

Born and raised in New York City, Valerina Young is a teenage model who is in the limelight! She was crowned ATV Miss Asia East Coast 2014, and continued to host television shows, Trendy New York and New York Express, for the ATV Home America channel. Afterwards, she opened for Dahsar by Rashad Calhoun where she debuted her modeling career at the “iCUNY New York Fashion Week S/S16” show. During that season, she continued to walk for various shows/designers; highlights include opening for the Bakit Beshbai
S/S16 Collection and closing for Jessica Chen S/S16 Collection in the “Celebrate Taiwan: Food, Fashion, and Art” event at Grand Central Terminal.
She went on to become ambassador for the Carat & Co watch and jewelry store.
She debuted her print work when she modeled for Aysha Collection’s Spring 2016: The New Nomad collection, which are featured on ayshacollection.com. In January 2016, her print work was displayed in a photo exhibition by The Dream Studio. Delivering a combination of hardworking professionalism and steadfast passion, she continued to model for runway at the Fall/Winter season by walking for designers in more shows; highlights include walking for various high fashion couture designers in the Couture Fashion Week F/W 2016 show in addition to opening again for Dahsar by Rashad Calhoun in The Last Supper collection and closing for Speechless Vulgarity.
Throughout her engaging modeling career, Valerina consistently sang at various benefits and galas. Majoring in vocal music, she will graduate from high school in June of 2016 and will pursue Media, Culture and Communications in university.
She hopes to continue her work in both print and runway.
