Lillie Bernie, phenomenal multimedia artist and model, has beaten the odds and made her name and work known through the social media world.
Lillie has hit Instagram by storm by having her paintings hung up in various celebrity homes such as fashion guru Amy Neville, love islanders Amber Davies and Eyal Booker, MIC star Sophie Habboo and most recently Selling Sunsets icon Chrishell Stause.
Passionate about opportunities for upcoming artists and the power of social media, Lillie has used the platform since 2017 to advertise her work, establish a following and follow her dreams.
Inspired by Bram Bogart and Jason Martin, Lillie uses human interactions and challenging personal experiences, to capture the consequent feelings and emotions with the use of bold colours and textures. She creates abstract canvases with texture and metallic colours butt over the past year, her personalized glitter prints have taken over, making up 85 per cent of her work, which is now sold internationally. Her most proud achievements are showcasing at various exhibitions in London and Miami, including creating a mural, live, during Miami Art Basel 2017.
Having studied broadcast journalism at University Lillie knew her true passion was not only creating paintings which captured an audience but also photos. Lillie has been a successful fashion model since she was young, going full time throughout her university years with international modelling agencies to help fund her artistic career.
With modelling for brands such as Converse, Nivea, Boohoo, John Lewis and Harrods, her recently announced collaboration with Skinnydip, and her work soon to be available to buy on Not On The High street, Lillie is one to watch for 2022
