Liga Freimane grew up in Latvia but currently live and model in NYC.
Liga has been modeling for some time, it started with beauty contests back in Latvia, modeling in Milan, but to Liga, New York has given her the most modeling opportunities and also challenges.
Ever since Liga moved to NY, she has been actively participating in various photo shoots, runway shows, model contests such as Miss Diaspora Models, Runway Princess etc.
Liga has worked with great, GREAT designers like Kevin Hall, Amanda Wakely, Tory Burch, Dore exquisite gowns; Lorii, Lisa Yamasaki, J's Hair Studio, Kristi Vosbeck, HUE and many others.
For a couple of years Liga has worked as a Exclusive Model of Beyond Comics Inc. The body was used as a prototype for female characters in BC comic books. Currently Liga collaborates with The Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons The New School for Design and participates in various projects.
Liga was a model for company's "The Squeeze" ad. Liga currently works as a spokes model for Arriba Gold Chocolates. Liga has been cast in various video projects of which most recent are - German Hit TV show, Bronxnet TV,
Beauty by Karma commercial.
Besides modeling, Liga has always been fascinated by art and production, so Liga obtained a MA in Graphic Design and recently completed a full course in a studio production.
Currently, Liga is successfully combining her passion for graphc design and modeling. During her spare time she wimins in cold water and in 2012 even participataed World cold water swimming championship. Every New Year Liga starts with the polar bear swim. Liga also enjoys yoga and supports a healthy lifestyle.
