Hi! I'm Latia Glinton a top model with Fifth Avenue Modeling Agency and I have been with this agency for five (5) years from my first introduction into modeling by my sister. Its a very funny story how I got into the fashion industry; my younger sister was modeling and ask me to accompany her to rehearsals and I went. It was then and there my sister introduced me to Kevin Strakan the president of Fifth Avenue Models, who convinced me to walk and said that I was a natural.
Mr. Strakan said " you are standing 5' 10" tall and 110 pounds, wearing a dress size of 1, I really would like for to become my star model."
My hobbies include reading, dancing, singing, hanging-out with family and friends and of course I can't forget modeling. When I first got into the fashion industry, I really liked it. I have to admit, its pretty cool... However over the years I have grown to love modeling which is awesome, especially working the catwalk and all the walk techniques that I have learned being with the agency. Its just not the walking but the marketing skills that Mr. Strakan have taught me, I do love it; like I can be dead tired and weary, but once I get on that runway I totally wake-up.
Yes, my new love is modeling, walking the catwalk/fashion shows, recently I got a lot of bookings for fashion Photo Shoots and I do see my career going places.
I'm very grateful to be Model of the month for September issue of World Fashion Media News and represent Fifth Avenue Models/Bahamas yay!
