Lashawn B Designs newest collection features her unique garments inspired by her love of 70”s inspired clothing taken from her childhood memories of Icons such as Diana Ross wearing bold daring psychedelic prints and bell bottoms. Lashawns new collection is a reflection of her unique taste of style and contemporary spin on fashion within in the decade.
LBD’S (Lashawn B Designs) fall collection compliments Chicagoans looking to standout out in her unique designs during the upcoming windy seasons. Her French two-piece High Collar Denim Coat is uniquely designed to be worn as the perfect fall coat or dress. Bold and edgy are her two piece 70’s vintage bell sleeve and bell bottom ensemble that can be worn together or apart. Lashawn's custom fall designs which features tops, bottoms and dresses are whimsical with a flamboyant flair that are bound to attract attention around the windy city.
About the Designer
As a former stay at home mom, it was always a dream of Lashawn Burnett to pursue a career in fashion since the tender age of 10. With the birth of her oldest daughter, her career was put on halt as she embarked upon her new role as a mother and wife. After birthing 3 beautiful daughters, paired with much faith and tenacity she held onto her dreams of working in the fashion industry when she became the first African American women in Hinsdale, IL to launch a fashion boutique in 2006.
She has enjoyed showing off her natural fashion styling skills dressing diverse women from all walks of life in fabulous clothing and accessories both from her boutique and newly formed fashion brand Lashawn B Designs launched in 2014. In 2017 her brand was featured on TV and is recognized as a brand fashion lovers should get to know. Hailing from the inner city of ‘Chicago, Lashawn has overcome many obstacles in achieving her childhood dreams of continued success in the fashion industry Lashawn’s newest quest in the fashion world comes with her sneak debut of her fall collection showcased earlier last month during NYC 2018 fashion week.
