My name is Karina DeCasablanca and my dreams and aspirations all started in the small town of Ventnor City, New Jersey. Being the proud Jersey Girl that I am I always rooted for Miss. New Jersey at the Miss America organization.
I attended my first Miss America 3 years ago and my passion started off right then and there I wanted to be just like her. A winner. The following year after that I competed for Miss New Jersey Teen USA and at the time I was 14. I came to realize that I was the youngest one there once I participated. I didn't win but I also didn't lose hope.
I learned confidence and I gained experience and met some awesome friends in which I am still in contact with. I'm planning of attending this year again. I've been accepted to several Fashion Weeks and photographers from all over the east coast have requested to have a photoshoot with me.
My greatest accomplishment so far was walking in Soho in New York City. I had such a fantastic time! I met talented designers and people. My dream is to walk for many great designers of the world and maybe one day be on your living room TV screen acting one your favorite tv shows or favorite movie!
I'm keeping my head up high and the only thing I'm doing is not giving up and staying Positive!
