1. What’s your background?
I am a Tunisian young Artist ,
Researcher and PHD student at theory of art.
2. What does your work aim to say?
My art work started by my
passion of analytical drawing, at my university, where I found that
the pencil very interested Medium for expression. I think my work try
to highlight the impressive expression of the different details, especially
human being body, which is an overview of the contemporary human
sensibility.
3. How does your work comment on current social or political
issues?
My Art work try to show new contemporary life effect on the
individual.
4. How have you developed your career?
My career has developed by practicing and participating on different cultural and artistic events
and internships, also social have great impact on the way i have been developing my work.
5. How do you cultivate a collector base?
My most effective strategy
for connecting with collectors has been to communicate
enthusiastically about the work and ideas that I appreciate,
highlighting (but not limited to) my own. It has also been important
to understand the collaborative role that I play with the collectors
and funders of my work; I think of myself as needing their interest,
support (financial and conceptual), and ideas in order to make the
best work of which I am capable. As I am a little uncomfortable with
classic “sales,” I don’t try to do that. I play to my strengths to build
these relationships in a genuine and long-lasting way.
6. How do you navigate the art world?
Actually social Media great
medium for navigate, it makes communication and interaction much more
easy, even though I think my Instagram account it’s my own online
exhibition.
7. How do you price your work?
I price my Art work by considering
medium charges, time of work and originality of the piece of work.
8. Which current art world trends are you following?
I am following the new street art / conceptual art combined with contemporary
trends.
9. As Arab ladies still searching their freedom of thoughts, way of
living according to their own way, is you paintings could give them
some sort of thinking of freedom or as a creative person do you
have any liability to change the society & change the peoples
perception towards female?
This is a great question Freedom! Yes I guess that‘s way I called my
self as a FLY ART, because I believe that my art experience should be
without any limit, i don’t see my self as a feminist or feminine active
on society, but as an Arab artist I try my best to show more that Art
and creative field can touch soul’s before minds because I am
working on sensibility it’s an emotional field which include womens
and mans at the same time. But if we talk about freedom of thoughts
and the positions oft he female on the Arab, we are on 21 century
and I think we now talking more about equally between gender.
