The designer Emilia Lepore brought, for the first time at the Fashion Week in Milan, her collection "Aegipta" inspired by ancient Egypt, after having shown on various Italian and international catwalks. Presented at the International Fashion Expo event, the Apulian designer gave the event an explosion of femininity with sinuous and essential lines created with natural silks and precious fabrics.
8 LE proposed the great myth of a Goddess Woman, proud, regal, strong, sensual and sexy: with pure lines, slits and deep necklines that outline the female silhouette of the 8LE woman with precious handmade fabrics that enhance femininity.
Warm and sensual colours that recall the earth and nature: the designer creates graphics that become fabrics and jewels skilfully mixed with precious stones.
Jewel collars created with printed fabrics and rose quartz, leather, coral, pearls and fabric, skillfully mixed in the creation of straps and bracelets that mark and enhance the waist.
A warrior woman adorned with jewel jewels in fabric and semi-precious stones, long drags in pure silk enhance the female forms, giving them a class of yesteryear.
Research and experimentation of materials are at the basis of multidimensional handmade fabrics.
White kaftans with an ethno-chic taste, mix of Afro, Arabic, Mediterranean ethnicities, fusion of techniques and materials created with hand painted multidimensional fabrics with layers of fabric, flower petals, leaves and elements of nature, have inspired the designer in these unique and exclusive textile creations made with skillful craftsmanship.
Born in Bari in 1973, Emilia Lepore, trained professionally by studying art and architecture at the University Federico Secondo of Naples, she learnt the pictorial and manneristic arts attending the "Botteghe D'Arte Pugliesi" until she discovered her great passion for textiles and research creating her graphic archive of over 6,000 graphics for textiles and couture multidimensional fabrics and then creating the brand 8 LE - Eight LE.
