Genine Hees, female model and actress based in HOllywood, California. Genine's ambitions include expanding her acting craft and skill starring in films and television internationally, modeling internationally, writing, and ongoing education in all fields.
BIOGRAPHY:
Genine Hart was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to a Prussian and French mixed mother and a Dutch father, raised in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Genine discovered her love and talent for acting, she found it through the encouragement of her second grade teacher trying to use acting as a tool to control Genine's ADHD. Through this introductory to theater Genine harnessed a passion for the performing arts at a tender age of seven. From the age of eight and onwards, she made her presence known through multiple theatre productions. With the support of theatre directors and teachers, and after watching Oscar winning actress Vivien Leigh in her performance in
"Gone with the Wind", and Liz Taylor's (in Genine's favorite film) "Cat on the hot tin roof". She was driven to pursue her acting career full-time in and outside of school.
Genine was successfully trained and experienced in theatre and she hosted a local childrens T.V. show. Genine mastered English in two years, then she made her way to America.
Residing in Texas and then Nevada to further expand her career in film and television training and acting, while finishing her last year or two of High school. She got discovered for modeling in the airport upon her arrival in the USA for famed designer Anand Jon, where she traveled often to NYC, Miami, and LA.
Genine was also very active within many genres of different sports,
teleprompter/communication training, kickboxing, and avid book reader all helped her gain skills she would need helping her to become a more versatile actress, writer, and student.
After completion of school Genine took off for NYC for off Broadway jobs and then to
Los Angeles California to take her gained experiences and knowledge as to apply them to pursuing what she lived, breathed, dreamed of so to grow further into film and television, with little to her name where she depended on her talents for both modeling and acting.
Genine went to do a year contract in Asia for modeling and two short films while continuing her higher education online for writing and international business subjects. To bring awareness to her experience and talent in a new unfamiliar area she did it through her work, Genine has flexed her acting muscles and showed off her versatility through many off Broadway shows, student films, and short films, while pursuing her other love modeling and writing. She has traveled to NYC, Los Angeles, Asia, Las Vegas, and Miami for work.
In addition to her now expanding acting and modeling resume, she's also bilingual (English/Afrikaans), Genine is now currently residing in California after living in NY, Miami, and Asia. She continues to work in both modeling and acting full-time, while continuously studying her craft in both passions and higher education in International business management and marketing and writes everyday..
