When interviewed why choose Ao Dai designs instead of other fashionable outfits, they stated:
“ We are professional kid models, and we love to wear ‘Ao Dai’ and we find that Vietnamese dresses are unique, sophisticated and exquisite. Therefore, when we started designing, we wanted to create Ao Dai first- the inspiration for this is our love for our two countries and the Ao Dai uniqueness. However, what’s most important is we would like to introduce Vietnamese traditional dresses worldwide, with the message to share love through fashion, and we believe that through this, we could bring people together and it suits everyone to wear them”.
The collection is presented by 26 international models from many different countries and continents, such as the USA, the UK, Africa, Europe, Poland, Malta and Vietnam. The design combines the colours of the national flags of Vietnam and the United Kingdom, which are red, yellow, white and blue.
The ‘Ao Dai’ designs are a combination of the traditional Vietnamese style and the British Royal style, through creativity, innovative and bold impressive ideas of teenagers and youngsters. The dresses featured images of the Buckingham Palace, the Tower Bridge, the Big Ben clock, the red telephone and correlating images of Vietnam, with printed pagodas, bronze drums, golden sand and blue sea, village kites, waterfalls, conical hats and more.
