This lovely young man was born in the Lower East Manhattan in New York city on September 27, 1974. His life as a child was very challenging. Edward was born with a cleft pallet/lip, and heart murmur. The first five years of his life were very difficult for his parents since the child would be going through multiple surgeries to correct his defect.
Edward had no speech during the first five years of his life.
At the age of fifteen "Suicide" came knocking on Edward's door. Edward couldn't handle being different and all the disgraceful treatment he received from many people including family members. However, God came through and he wasn't able to fulfill the suicide.
Despite these difficulties Edward developed a voice to sing. He then realized that it was time to go full force into singing allowing his voice to be heard. Edward pursued his singing for several years. However, in 2010 Edward auditioned for modeling, acting, and singing after seeing an advertisement announced in Telemundo. Edward was accepted into Latin Talent T.V.and this is when his life completely changed. Edward began breaking barriers in the modeling industry on the runway , performing in various fashion shows, as well as doing prints for various photographers.
Today, Edward is currently pursuing his modeling and acting career. What a change? From what everyone though of as a cleft palate/lip child to a model. That is absolutely amazing. His love for God and music has grown stronger throughout the years. He is currently seeking to take his music to another level and be successful. He would like to be a role model for children that are born deformed letting them know that in God there is still hope and they can still fulfill their dreams despite life's unexpected circumstances.
