Designer dream collection admires Dysheen Davis talent graphic designer to editorial photography

Dysheen Davis is a Queens, New York native and has a very candid and unique shooting style. He loves capturing everyday moments and strives to capture natural and styled shots that show your true personality. Don’t worry about looking perfect or getting dirty, just be yourself and just have fun! That being said, he loves capturing some posed shots as well, so there are different options to choose from in each session. His Background In photography ranges from Fashion, Photojournalism, Weddings, Macro, Landscapes, etc.
His resume includes working as a graphic designer and video editor in government media, photo retoucher (Lane Bryant and Cacique), corporate video editing, and field producing. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Animation and Multimedia. During his early years he worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer in New York City, for brands such as Jordan Sports Entertainment and FuBu.
Shortly after relocating to Columbus, Ohio in 2003, He started his photography brand, 3DM Photography. With his first camera, an Olympus Evolt-500, he started with Landscape Photography. From there he shot Photojournalism with the County government. After a couple of years, he strived to master the art of portrait photography and fashion. Travel has also led him to national and international locations such as Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Isla Mujeres, Mexico where he captured unique images and portraits, that have influenced and inspired him.

His awarded merits have him featured in the Ohio Museum of Art for his photos on the Ohio Women’s March Protest in 2016, Columbus Dispatch , and the Columbus Post Newspaper. He has been multi-published in Magazines and web articles internationally. His Latest Publishing is with Actress Somy Ali and Designer and Cannes Short Film Award winner Anjali Phougat. He has also been featured in many art shows such as RAW Artists and The Color of Summer at the Columbus Museum of Art. His work can also be seen in Fashion Shows during Fashion Week in Columbus and New York.
