This look was inspired by an overflowing glass of champagne 🍾🥂 Champagne was integral to the 1920s.
As a decade, it saw the Roaring Twenties, the start of the Great Depression, and the Prohibition. In this juxtaposition of cultural, socioeconomic, and political dynamics, champagne has always held a huge amount of significance.
It was really an honor and humbling experience to be given such an incredible opportunity.
I met so many amazing people and learned a lot about myself as a designer and as a person.
To think that just over a year ago, I moved across the country with only a suitcase and a backpack and had no idea how to even sew a straight line and am now showcasing my work on an international level.
It’s humbling and I am so incredibly grateful.
Thank you for giving me on opportunity to show the world what I can do.
